Research activity of our group is based on neutron scattering studies performed on our four instruments, and also on experiments performed at foreign facilities. External access to our facilities is regulated by the directives of the research infrastructures, and can be discussed by contacting the persons responsible for the individual instruments. The group studies aqueous liquids, polymers, silicagels, biologycal systems, construction materials, archaeological objects, glassy-samples for hosting radioactive waste material, by small angle neutron scattering, diffraction and reflectometry.

The main activity of the group is the maintenance and development of neutron scattering methods and instruments, design of cold neutron sources, neutron detector development, and several tasks for the European Spallation Source, being built in Lund, Sweden.
